Edward’s practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law with a focus on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in mechanical, electrical and computer technologies. He has experience working with a wide range of clients, including independent inventors, small to mid-sized start-up companies and large multi-national corporations.

Prior to law school, Edward obtained degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Toronto and received an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award to conduct research in numerical analysis and scientific computing.

Edward is fluent in Korean. He is a current Regional Governor (Canada) of the International Association of Korean Lawyers and a past president of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association. Edward also serves on the Executive Committee of the Toronto Intellectual Property Group.
